Debra Martens, LMT
The highest priority is to be of service and to meet each client’s individual needs. To this end, our style is very flexible, from deep tissue to deep relaxation. We assess your needs and create a custom session each time we meet.
A NYS Licensed Massage Therapist, Debra graduated from the Finger Lakes School of Massage with 500 hours of anatomy and physiology, and 500 hours of hands on training, with clinic hours completed at Cayuga Medical Center Rehabilitation Program. Her continuing education includes Advanced Anatomy of the Neck, Deep Tissue of the neck, Deep Tissue of the Hip and Chinese cupping method.
After enjoying four very successful years at Rasa Spa Debra purchased Bodyworks Massage Therapy, a thriving local business since 1996.
Other training that influences Debra’s work includes being a graduate of The IM School of Healing Arts, a four-year program of deep transformation through meditation, group dynamics, and energy healing in NYC. Debra is also a graduate of Landmark Education and has had extensive training in Qigong, Tai Chi, Yoga, and Meditation as well as a Cornell BFA.
